πŸŒπŸ’™ Ostomy Awareness Day 2025 – Invisible Disabilities. Visible Support. πŸ’™πŸŒ

05 October 2025 16:27

Yesterday marked Ostomy Awareness Day, a time to recognise and celebrate the strength and resilience of people living with ostomies.
This year’s theme, “Invisible Disabilities. Visible Support. The Global Unity of Ostomates,” reminds us that not all disabilities can be seen — but inclusion and understanding should always be visible.
At the Loo of the Year Awards, we are proud to play our part in promoting accessible and inclusive away-from-home washrooms for everyone. Through our independent, unannounced audits, we provide feedback, education, and awareness to help ensure facilities meet the needs of all users — including those with invisible disabilities such as people with ostomies.
Everyone deserves dignity, comfort, and confidence when using public washrooms. πŸ’™
