 A fantastic day at the Business Expo in Chester today

A huge thank you to Andrew Charlton and the team at Hashtag Events for yet another brilliantly organised event, bringing together businesses from across the region to network, learn and make valuable new connections.

For us, events like these are about much more than exhibiting. They provide an opportunity to raise the visibility of the Loo of the Year Awards and start important conversations about the standards of washroom provision across the UK.

Throughout the day, it was great to meet so many people who recognised the Loo of the Year Awards logo. Even more encouraging was the interest from those wanting to understand what the accreditation really means.

The familiar logo isn't simply a badge that can be displayed. It represents an independent assessment against a range of criteria, including cleanliness, management, décor, maintenance, accessibility and overall customer experience. Every grading and award has to be earned.

As awareness continues to grow, so does the understanding that high-quality washroom facilities matter. Whether you're a visitor attraction, hospitality venue, shopping centre, office, transport hub or public facility, achieving recognition through the Loo of the Year Awards demonstrates a commitment to excellence and customer care.
