Silver for Becky at The Best Business Women Awards 2025
Celebrating Excellence at the Best Business Women Awards 2025
🎶 “Friday night’s alright…” — and last Friday was certainly more than alright for Becky, who attended the Best Business Women Awards 2025 at the Daventry Court Hotel, accompanied by her husband Charles and daughter Charlotte. Becky was delighted to be a finalist in the Lifetime Achievement Award category, a recognition of her ongoing contributions to business and the wider community.
The Best Business Women Awards, now in their 11th year, have become one of the UK’s most respected platforms for celebrating female entrepreneurship. These awards recognise women who embody the qualities that make a true business leader:
-
Innovation and originality – bringing fresh ideas and unique approaches to their field.
-
Persistence and resilience – staying determined through challenges and setbacks.
-
Tenacity and bravery – taking bold decisions and leading with confidence.
-
Leadership – inspiring teams, peers, and communities.
-
Adaptability and agility – responding effectively to change and embracing new opportunities.
-
Supportive attitude to peers and communities – lifting others while building their own success.
-
Passion and flair for their field – demonstrating enthusiasm and excellence in their work.
-
A positive outlook – maintaining optimism in the face of obstacles.
-
Strong business acumen – understanding strategy, growth, and sustainability.
-
Commitment to customers and community – prioritising impact and service beyond profit.
These qualities are what make the Best Business Women Awards a platform not just for celebrating achievements, but also for recognising role models who inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Becky was over the moon to receive a Silver Award, reflecting her achievements, leadership, and dedication to these values.
The evening was made even more special with members of the Connect Networking Group in attendance, supporting one another and sharing in the celebrations. Becky congratulated Janet Shreeve and Claire Brewerton on their Silver Awards, and Fiona Da Silva-Adams on her Gold Award in Best Businesswoman Working with Children & Families. The event also provided a wonderful opportunity to catch up with friends and fellow entrepreneurs, including Stefan Thomas, Fiona Scott, and Romesh Jeyaseelanayagam.
Networking events like this don’t always look like traditional networking. For Becky, the evening was filled with laughter, sparkle, and inspiration, proving that celebrating success can be as enjoyable as it is empowering.
Now that the excitement has settled, Becky is full of gratitude for Debbie Gilbert and her team, whose organisation created an evening of sparkle, fizz, and fun — an event that truly highlighted the achievements of women across the UK.
The Best Business Women Awards celebrate ladies who serve as role models for the next generation, showing how determination, creativity, and passion can build something truly impactful. Becky’s recognition at this event reflects not only her own journey but also the incredible community of women inspiring each other to push boundaries and achieve greatness.
Here is to the next generation of female entrepreneurs, and to continuing to celebrate those who lead the way with innovation, resilience, and heart.
