Edinburgh for European Roundtable talk and the European Cleaning and Hygiene Awards 2025

A busy but truly inspiring end to our week!

Charles and I were very fortunate to have been invited by Tork/Essity to join them in Edinburgh this week.

We began with an informal dinner on Wednesday evening, where we met other members of the European Roundtable on Inclusive Hygiene ahead of Thursday’s discussion. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with participants from Italy, Poland, Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands and beyond.

On Thursday, I took part in the Roundtable discussion, which explored a wide range of topics around inclusive hygiene. It was fascinating to hear how many of the challenges and ambitions are shared across Europe, and how collaboration can help us all move forward.

That evening, Charles and I were honoured to be guests of Tork/Essity at the European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards 2025, held at the stunning National Museum of Scotland.

These few days also opened up so many valuable opportunities to network — reconnecting with existing contacts and building new relationships across the industry.

We both felt incredibly grateful to be part of these events — learning, sharing ideas, and celebrating the dedication of so many within the cleaning and hygiene industry. 💙
