17 May 2025 20:00

A professional speaker, bestselling author, and business networking expert who lives in Witney will host next year's Loo of the Year Awards.

Stefan Thomas, author of 'Business Networking for Dummies' and 'Win The Room', will take centre stage at the event.

The awards will take place in January 2026 at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.

Mr Thomas, who has previously spoken at events for BT, Lloyds Bank, and Utility Warehouse, said: "When Becky and Charles Wall approached me to be MC for next year’s Loo of the Year Awards, I was thrilled.

"These awards are high energy and I know that I'll be able to bring that same energy to the stage - while also giving the audience some useful tips on how to build their own networks throughout the day."

The Loo of the Year Awards honour the best in ‘away from home’ washroom provision.

More than 1,500 businesses are assessed each year, with the highest performing entries celebrated at the final gala event.

Becky Wall, who runs the awards with her husband Charles, said: "[Mr Thomas] was an excellent keynote speaker at our awards earlier this year, where he struck the perfect balance between personal and professional.

"He spoke about business networking while sharing his personal experience of living with ulcerative colitis, and his authenticity and warmth really stood out.

"We knew then that he’d be a fantastic MC for our next awards ceremony."
