At the Loo of the Year Awards, we believe every toilet should do more than just meet the basics, it should provide dignity. That’s why we introduced the Period Dignity Award, recognising businesses and organisations that go the extra mile by providing free sanitary products in their washrooms.
Period poverty affects thousands across the UK every day. No one should have to choose between food and period products. Toilets that offer free, discreet access to pads or tampons are helping to break the stigma and provide practical, compassionate support to those who need it.
