Loo of the Year Awards entries and Coronavirus

Loo of the Year Awards staff are still able maintain normal service whilst working safely at home.

We have not cancelled the 2020 Loo of the Year Awards as we already have many entries and we do not need to inspect entrants facilities until August at the earliest – over four months ahead and by which time we hope that most businesses will have resumed normal activities . This can be put back if necessary but we hope that contact restrictions will be removed before then. The annual Event is planned for Friday 4th December – seven months ahead. The public will value clean and hygienic washrooms much more in future! We will continue to recognise, reward and promote our entrants superior washroom provision.

When the current pandemic ends, customers and other visitors to your premises will be even more aware of the need to be able to use clean and hygienic washroom facilities that meet all of their needs and expectations. This Loo of the Year Awards (LOYA) website ‘Loo Advice’ tab contains help and advice relating to many aspects including Toilet design, Best Practice, Cleaning Guidelines and the LOYA Consultancy Service. A Loo of the Year Award is independent recognition of the standard of washrooms that you provide and the standards you achieve!
