Two charities benefit from Awards Event

Two supporters of Loo of the Year Awards, Evolve Security and Willings Services, combined to provide 'pay to enter barriers' at the Awards Event on 5th December and £309.44 was donated by the guests. This sum is to be donated to Gambian Lufton College a specialist residential college for young people with a range of learning difficulties, the choice of Ross Longbottom the Managing Director of Danfo UK, the winner of the Overall 2014 Loo of the Year Awards Trophy.

Evolve Security and Willings Services then matched the guests donations and donated a further £309.44 for Accessible Derbyshire set up to make life easier for people with disabilities, their families and carers. Gillian Scotford and Jane Carver, the creators of the charity made an emotional presentation at the Event explaining and promoting the need for more Changing Places toilets throughout the UK.
