Supporting the Next Generation of Football Stars – Ledbury FC U9 Girls!
At Loo of the Year Awards Ltd, we believe that supporting our local communities is about more than business. It is about people, family, teamwork and helping the next generation to thrive. That is why we are delighted to be sponsoring Ledbury FC U9 Girls, helping to keep the team warm and looking smart in their new sponsored jackets this season!
Sunday was a particularly special occasion as the girls welcomed their sponsors, Loo of the Year Awards, when they took on Toros Storm U9 Girls in what proved to be a highly competitive and enjoyable match.
Representing us on the day was our Awards Manager, Jane Kibble, who was there to cheer on the team and see the girls proudly wearing their new jackets. However, this sponsorship has an extra-special family connection for Jane, as her twin granddaughters both play for Ledbury FC U9 Girls. Their dad, Scott, is also part of the Loo of the Year Awards family, working as one of our inspectors!
It is lovely to see these family connections bringing our business and local community together.
More than just sponsorship
For us, supporting Ledbury FC U9 Girls is about much more than providing a team with jackets. Family values, community spirit and supporting people to achieve their potential are important to everything we do.
Grassroots sport plays such an important role in bringing young people together. It gives children the opportunity to develop confidence, build friendships, learn about teamwork and enjoy being part of something bigger than themselves.
We also recognise that without the generosity and support of local businesses, many grassroots teams would find it difficult to provide even the basic equipment and kit that their young players need.
We are therefore incredibly proud to be able to make a contribution and play a small part in helping these girls enjoy their football.
A fantastic match and an exciting season ahead!
Sunday's match against Toros Storm certainly sounded like an exciting one!
Both teams created plenty of chances during the opening two quarters, with the girls showing great determination and resilience. The following two quarters brought a couple of goals, including a sensational free kick scored from the halfway line!
Most importantly, it was wonderful to hear that both teams thoroughly enjoyed the match and were cheering each other on after the final whistle. That is what grassroots football is all about.
There is also something exciting on the horizon, with Ledbury FC U9 Girls set to face Toros Storm once again in a cup final at Hereford FC Stadium next May. We will certainly be looking forward to following their progress!
Good luck for the season, girls!
From everyone at Loo of the Year Awards Ltd, we wish the whole team, coaches and parents a fantastic and successful season.
We hope your new jackets keep you warm throughout the winter months, whether you are training, travelling to matches or cheering from the sidelines!
We will be following your journey with great interest and look forward to hearing about all your achievements along the way.
Go on, Ledbury FC U9 Girls – we are proud to be part of your team!
⚽💙
