BCC has grown from five founder member bodies, at its set-up in 1982, to a current membership of 19 trade associations, research and educational institutions representing contract cleaners to environmental campaigners and toilet campaigners to cleaning trainers.
We provide a forum for member bodies to liaise and discuss industry-wide improvements. As co-owners of the Cleaning Show we use any funding we receive to plough directly back into the industry into improvement schemes.
We believe we fully encompass the UK cleaning industry and are proud to represent it in all its glory. Cleaning is now a professional industry with excellent opportunities.

Most of us don’t give a second thought to going out into the community. But many disabled people are unable to do this or take part in activities we all take for granted, because standard accessible toilets do not meet their needs – or the needs of their carers.
Changing Places toilets, which include a hoist, a changing bench and enough space for a wheelchair and two carers can change this. Help us to make sure that in the future all large public buildings have one of these facilities.
