Record Number of Entries for 2005 LOY Awards

Over 1,000 entries have been received for the 2005 Loo of the Year Awards, from all over the UK – nearly 30% up on last year.

Judging for this year’s competition is now almost completed and results from the team of authorised Inspectors are being analysed.

Grades awarded will be advised to all entrants in early September and the Awards Presentation Ceremony is taking place on Tuesday 27th September at The Waterfront Conference Centre, Belfast at 4.00pm – as part of the 2005 World Toilet Summit.

The Presentation will be followed by a Civic Reception in Belfast City Hall, hosted by The Lord Mayor of Belfast and a Gala Dinner.

All Loo of the Year participants are invited to attend both the Awards Presentation, Reception and Dinner, as well as the Summit meeting – being held on Tuesday and Wednesday 27th and 28th September.
